Im having problems with a pover adapter on my laptop,the plug that goes
into the laptop gets very hot!, it runs the laptop fine, and does not
get hot when turned on and not plugged into the laptop, only when in the
laptop, what could be causing the problem?

Does anyone know how to reset the BIOS password on a TM 290?, or where the
CMOS battery is?

I have a problem with a new acer 2026 laptop. It continually freezes
after a random period of time (can be 5 minutes or can be 1 hour). it
gets hot and the fan cuts in and it freezes. Doesn't matter what you
are doing but especially bad when using a cd or dvd. Latest failures

I have a desktop PC which I built up myself. Currently using WinME.
I allso purchased recently an Acer Aspire notebook which has WinXP HE on it.
What I was wondering is this.
Can I use the Acer restore disks to put WinXP HE on my desktop or do I need
