I have a Travelmate 244 which came without floppy drive.
I want to add one, internal version.
What is the procedure to add it ?

I own an AcerMate 5200 computer and recently added a new Maxtor 15 Gig
hard drive to upgrade it for my daughter's use.
I wanted to avoid using a DDO, so I searched the net for a BIOS
update.

I bought a nice old AcerAcros 486 running nicely :)   I opened it up to
clean all the cobwebs out and even put in a new hard to find BR2335 BIOS
battery.    However this lost all the BIOS memory and the system insists on
a "recovery system diskette" asnd won't go past the BIOS post ...

I have an Acer Ferrari with Mobile Athlon XP2500 processor. One application
I run sends CPU to 100% continuously. I can set priority for that task to
"low" so that I can run other apps OK but it doesn't need that much CPU and
it is obviously running the machine very hot and forcing ...

I am a new purchaser of a ACER TM243L.
I discover that there is a hidden partition of 8Mo nammed
"Acer_Service", which can be made visible with Pantition-Magic.
- Which is the utility of this partition?

I just bought a Acer Aspire 2000, I am very happy with it, the only thing is
that it didn't come bundled with any real battery monitor program.  It uses
the built-in one from WinXP - which is fine, but only displays the
percentage battery left - it would be nice to have that ...
