anyone experience with the drive-"door" blocking while ejecting it (with or
without CD inside)
It opens for around a quarter of an inch and refuses to open further. After
closing it again and one / two additional tries it does open in the end.

Can anybody please help. I have just bought an Acer Ferrari 3000
laptop and cannot work out how to remove the keyboard to upgrade the
2nd memory slot. Acer have been no help at all stating that I will
invalidate the warranty if I go into the laptop yet their website

I have the laptop aspire 1353 with windows xp home. unfortunately, it
doesn't connect to the internet over my broadband cable modem, although the
network cable (LAN) is recognized. any ideas?

I wanted to install the bios-update Acer provides on her website

Strangely enough, in the text-file that is accompanying this BIOS-update

I recently bought a Travelmate 240 with WinXP Home and when I try to search
for files in the Explorer, it just doesn't work. It claims to be searching
but nothing happens and I get (part of) the assistent and that's is it.
Does anyone have the same experience, is it an Acer or ...
