I'm looking for network storage, mainly for backups.  The one that
appealed the most to me was the Netgear SC 101.  But reviews said it
was painfully slow, which was sure to trouble me.

We have an integrated Intel NIC in one of our Dell servers which is
reporting two MAC addresses to the switch.  The other integrated NIC on the
same server only reports one.  Any ideas what could be causing this?

I have a wireless network running and both the desktop and the laptops

hello have a 5 port network switch with 5 network ports and 1 uplink
port currently have cable modem plug directly into 1 of our 4

I have my ADSL connection via a modem/router using ethernet cables.  My mobo
is an old GA-7VT600 1394 running an Athlon XP 2800+.  All has been working
fine for years, but just last week I have lost all the lights on the Realtek
NIC and my connection to the net.....  Does lights out ...

Just recently, I have had to DISABLE Norton Internet Security in order
to get my email. I use Thunderbird as my email client. I don't know if
there is a connection but it seemed to happen after a recent Thunderbird
upgrade (or is it called "update"?).

My Vpn has never worked. I can connect but cannot see
the shared folders on remote connection. I've already
enabled Netbios over TCP/IP on all machines but still
no folders in site.
