I have been desperately trying over the weekend with computer knowledgeable
people to simply instigate a WIRELESS network of sorts......
I have a NETGEAR DG834GT MODEM/ROUTER and wireless adapters.

I have 2 computers sharing a cable connection.  I have a Linksys Router and
a Linksys Modem.
When I go into IPCONFIG, it shows my IP Address as 192.168.1.100 but when I
go to a site like "whatismyip.com" it says my IP Address is 69.167.209.xx

I have a Athlon 2400 MHz desktop connected via an ethernet cable to a Dlink
Modem Router and a Dell Inspiration 1.84 MHz wireless enabled Laptop. I can
access the web from both computers and can manipulate the Dell from my
