My laptop is an IBM Thinkpad  with an Intel 2100 Wireless card.  I
have a wireless modem that connects with my Desktop and a DSL service.
1.    I get disconnected very often and cann't find the reason. The
signalls are strong (even with only a few feet from the router).

I am trying to setup a wireless network with windows xp.  I have a
Speedstream Wireless Router and have followed all the instructions.  I
can only find the network on my laptop only if I have the SSD on

Could someone give me a technical reason why, when I connected a cable modem
and three computers to a hub, it was faster than connecting a cable modem
and three computers with a switch?

Hello, we have 6 nodes at work on a LAN that's
routered to a cable router/modem to WAN. The
linksys router has 5 ports and one uplink and one
data port of which goes to the cable modem/router
