Network beginner, chosing a switch30 Jul 2005 19:42 GMT7
Basically I want more of my pcs in the LAN to have a 100.00 Mbps

handle it. So what should I look for in a switch (any examples) to make
this possible? I am looking at maybe 20 - 30 pcs to have 100mbps.

There are users on our Wireless network running BitTorrent
to download files from the Internet, which is fine with our

Wireless Access Point Without Router20 Jul 2005 01:29 GMT7

Wireless access point vs. cable/DSL wireless router.04 Jul 2005 18:51 GMT3
I would like to know what is the difference between a wireless Access
point (AP) and a cable/DSL wireless router. Do both of them need to
connect to a cable/DSL modem provided by the ISP in order to share an
internet connection. What about Wi-Fi that the local ISP provides :) .
