| Network beginner, chosing a switch | 30 Jul 2005 19:42 GMT | 7 |
Basically I want more of my pcs in the LAN to have a 100.00 Mbps connection instead of 10 Mbps. I know the network cards in the pc can handle it. So what should I look for in a switch (any examples) to make this possible? I am looking at maybe 20 - 30 pcs to have 100mbps.

| Wireless access point vs. cable/DSL wireless router. | 04 Jul 2005 18:51 GMT | 3 |
I would like to know what is the difference between a wireless Access point (AP) and a cable/DSL wireless router. Do both of them need to connect to a cable/DSL modem provided by the ISP in order to share an internet connection. What about Wi-Fi that the local ISP provides :) .
