In our office we have a Win 2003 server and Win XP Pro clients. One of the
computers got hit with a virus and the hard drive had to get reformatted and
the OS reinstalled, now when we try to rejoin the domain I am getting the

We develop solutions for the web.  People connect to the web at many
different speeds.  We need to test our solutions on very fast
connections and on very slow connections, as behaviors sometimes

We have a ethernet network here which is mostly 100mbps based. There

i've accumulated a lot of files on an XP machine, and when i transer
them to a 98 machine over a LAN, filenames with accents, or certian
characters (some such as apostrophes) get converted to underscores
when the reach the 98 machine.

I had been trying to network two computers with one running Linux (the
other used to be running Windows but I have put Linux on it now) and I
was able to use the network cards with DHCP. Now, strangely, the DHCP
suddenly doesn't work on BOTH computers! What's wrong here? I didn't
