My wireless router keeps on going out every hour or so. If I plug my

I know the  problem is not the cable modem. The Belkin support lady

We have wifi at home using a Netgear router and PC's.  My wife just
got a Macbook.  A lot of times it won't connect to our  WiFi until I
boot up our other laptop and then, bingo, the Macbook connects.  This
is repeatable but doesn't always happen.  Anyone have an explanation?
Need a better router27 Sep 2008 17:38 GMT7
Hi there. Can anyone help me out in picking a decent wireless set-up.
We had a Netgear that worked great, but died after 2 years. Then
someone gave us a D-Link WBR-1310, but it doesn't seem up to the task.
We run 2 laptops off it, both within 75  feet. One is 1 floor directly

Calculating power consumption...24 Sep 2008 15:06 GMT9
I am thinking about extending my wireless coverage by adding a WAP
(and a wireless-ethernet bridge) that will be powered by batteries.
The wireless-ethernet bridge will be the client feeding the WAP, so
the WAP can be run as a complete WAP and not a repeater.

I'm looking for a low-cost solution to stream 1080p over ethernet
