I have a Qwest Actiontec GT-701WG DSL Modem.  Is there any way to look at

problems on my line with my Cisco 678 modem.  Qwest asked me to upgrade to

What companies offer static IP addresses on residential lines in the

What's the best type of cable to use to connect the network interface

is a patchwork, spaghetti-looking tangled mess and I want to replace
it all with new wire.

on NT and was being replaced by .NET . Is this NG for DCOM and some form of
Terminal Server on xdsl?
Linksys DSL Router with MAC OS X no DHCP Address03 Oct 2007 09:21 GMT1
Connecting the Macbook to the router by RJ 45 I am unable to get a
DHCP address, but I get an 169.x.x.x address. I have tried to manually
set the IP, subnet and router as well as dns but still no luck in
getting network access. The router is no filtering any address, it's
