DHCP problem with Bridged Ethernet28 Feb 2007 07:23 GMT10
I need to setup a DHCP/Bridged Ethernet connection on my ADSL modem.
I know the correct VPI/VCI value to be used for this but I'm not sure
if LLCSNAP or VCMux should be used as encapsulation.
I have configured my modem using both encapsulation methods just to be

I think I managed to short out one of the ports in my Linksys BEFRS41
router last night trying to set up my laptop -- forgot to ground
myself before hitting the keyboard.  At any rate, three of the ports
are working okay, but as far as I can tell, one of them does not.

We are having problems when we stream audio using audio players. After
we have streamed we cannot bring up a web page. In checking the system
it appears we are still connected to the internet (network), and in
fact we can still receive a stream even though we cannot bring a web

password has been lost. Does anyone have a password reovery / nindy

I don't know much about DSL modems but vendors are making hard for
people to know "what is in the box", like with NICs once you know the
chipset they are based on you can pretty much tell what would be
