I seem to remember that Verizon had newsgroups dedicated to both DSL and their wireless service. I see some groups prefaced with "0." but they are inaccessible. Anyone know what happened to these groups? --Bruce

Anybody using these with 2Wire Routers? I'm all wireless, but I like the idea of no radio transmissions. Yes I know they are only 10Mbps, which isn't an issue with me since we rarely move files from one computer to another. And when we do, even 100Mbps is too slow anyway and ...

I'm in between ISPs right now. (I had been using Earthlink DSL, and on Oct. 26 I will be with Cavalier DSL.) I'm running Windows 98 SE. In order to go online with Earthlink, I needed to run WrDialer.exe (WinPoET Dialer) first.

I am wanting to set up a new data & voice link over twisted pair between two DOS based PCs which are 1Km apart. I currently have a circuit which uses a POTS chip and a FX604 modem chip, with a handset feeding in to the POTS chip for the voice link.
