I heard that Avian Flu emergency plans include massive telework.
(And I imagine folks would even do their grocery shopping online
and have their stuff left on their doorstep without human contact.)
But I wonder if they can put up so much broadband so fast.

What's the status with VZ Business Grade DSL and outgoing mail servers?
At one point Verizontal residential was blocking outgoing mail sent
via their server UNLESS the From: line was your VZ account. Does
anyone know if that was/is true for business DSL as well?

When I look thru the settings on my Speedstream 4100 modem is states
max Rx @ 768K.  Is this a configurable item and maybe I am missing
something but something hardcoded at a given rate should not be able to
connect at a faster speed.  I check speed and it consistantly records

I am connected to the Internet using consumer dsl service. My dsl ISP
only provides dynamic IP to users connected. As I have plans to set up
a VPN Server on my internal network, a static IP address is required.
May I know how to set up static IP Address for my consumer Dsl

I wanna know what's the difference between PPoA LLC & PPoA VC-Mux.
I was using all the time PPoA VC-Mux in my ADSL Modem, but in the last
2-3 weeks the line is not stable.

I have a zoom X6 dsl modem.
My ISP here in Guyana said they enabled my phone line for dsl use.
This modem is not detecting the dsl signal. The link led just blinks
all the time.

How to get DSL settings from Siemens SpeedStream 4100 DSL modem? Is
there a way get(download and preview) DSL configuration settings from
this modem? Modem comes preconfigured by provider.
