Hi, just moved to the Boston burbs (Waltham) and found that one can get DSL with verizon for something like $35/mo (doesn't sound bad). I do have a few questions (and had a b*tch of a time getting answers while i don't use thier service) since i am a DSL/broadband newbie

I can't connect to the DI-804 Router I borrowed from my brother. I've set up a network with 2 computers on one side and a cable modem on the other side. The config's have worked when I've done it before, but now everything I try seems useless.

| Comcast vs. Verizon DSL | 26 Jul 2003 13:47 GMT | 14 |
It wasn't long ago that I thought Verizon DSL was doomed. ATT Broadband was blowing it away. They both cost around $50/mo. I always felt the price point for Broadband to take off was under $30. Then, Verizon must have hired a real marketing guru. Suddenly, what was once a TIP and ...

Spectacular arrogance! I have been their DSL customer since the Manhattan beta test. I simply asked how Covad stacked up to VOL. Some nitwit from VOL decided that the post was OT.

| Where to find ISDN Information? | 22 Jul 2003 13:37 GMT | 17 |
I've about given up on DSL since it will be years before it's available out here in the sticks (25 miles west of Forth Worth, Texas) and cable is not available, either, so ISDN looks to be my only reasonably priced option for faster internet access. I have a next door neighbor that ...
