| Static IP lost after reload | 30 Dec 2007 12:57 GMT | 4 |
Our VPN router works with a dynamic address but we need to assign a static address. We change the Dialer0 int from ip address negotiated to ip address 123.123.123.123 255.255.255.248 which works and all tunnels come up again and internet connection is maintained.

Ok, so I'm not far enough into my cirriculum to know how to configure the 2511-DC, but I was wondering if there's a way to use it to use the 1-16 Async interfaces to connect to console ports on my multiple pieces of equipment and manage them via that?

| Cisco SB 107 - I get public IP, no web interface | 29 Dec 2007 02:53 GMT | 4 |
I'm trying to gain access to my Cisco SB 107 router, which is connected after my ISP's router running in bridge mode. Problem is that when I connect my IP to the Cisco router, I get a public IP and not an internal IP - so I'm unable to access the web interface.

This is just a minor annoyance, but I'll ask just the same. When I access my Cisco 2801 through a web browser (IE, in my case), using a https session, I get the message "Certificate Error". I just click through to continue. Now, I know I can click on the error button and
