ospf network statement - correct use (long)31 Mar 2006 21:42 GMT2
I'm hoping someone out there has the definitive answer to this one, as
I'm getting really confused! I've read, and been told, that the
network statement for OSPF should be used with subnets on which you
only want the OSPF process to run, not for networks you want to

VPN tunnel with NAT traversal31 Mar 2006 07:27 GMT1
I recently upgraded a PIX 501 from version 6.2.x to version 6.3.4 in order
to take advantage of the NAT-T ability when setting up an IPSec VPN.  It
seems that all there is to it is the "isakmp nat-traversal" command, but I
still can't get it to work.  Is there any way to ...
Setting up VPN31 Mar 2006 04:04 GMT1
I've got a Cisco 877 router/DSL modem running IOS 12.3.
Setting up EasyVPN server seems straightforward, but it appears to only
work with the Cisco VPN client.  Is there some way to set up the router
as a VPN server that will work with other clients, such as the built-in
CiscoVPN?31 Mar 2006 03:09 GMT1
A company that we work with have given us their cicoVPN client to get into
their system.  We have a sonicwall at our end.  Out sonicwall has all
outgoing allowed but strict rules for incoming.  What ports do we need to
open for incoming to get the ciscoVPN to work from our end?

PIX VPN Group30 Mar 2006 21:42 GMT6
When VPN clients are connecting they are asked to enter VPN group ID

PA-2FE-TX Parity Bug30 Mar 2006 21:13 GMT1
I have came across a bug with a PA-2FE-TX installed into a VIP2-50.
This bug causes the VIP to crash when there is any activity on the
second FE interface.  I believe it has something to do with parity.
Does anyone know the workaround to this or the bug ID? Thanks.

I am trying to setup a PIX 506e, and I am stuck trying to gain remote
