Less than 20-site VPN Best Practice?01 Jul 2004 00:11 GMT2
We're dumping our frame-relay and moving to Internet T1's all off ATT's
backbone. However, we have yet to decide on how to configure the VPN
architecture. We have a good amount of experience with PIX-to-PIX and
PIX-to-Concentrator VPN configuration.
HSRP and IP Address30 Jun 2004 21:23 GMT8
We use HSRP and have always used public address space for 'real interface
ip' ddress's
Would it make sense to use non routing private address space IP's for the
'real' interface IP's and of course a public IP for the floating ip.

What are some good tools/methods for troubleshooting PIX access-list
issues?  For example, say that I'm blocking all outbound smtp for all

PIX - Site-to-Site VPN and VPN Client access30 Jun 2004 14:39 GMT2
I've been looking intently at the Cisco website documentation (not all
of it seems correct/complete) and have successfully set up a PIX515 to
PIX506 site-to-site tunnel.  In addition, I have VPN Clients set up to
access the PIX515 and can access the network behind the PIX515.
CCNA30 Jun 2004 13:40 GMT1
I have been through 9 months training on Cisco routers and switches, 3

have passed all three of my classes with a minimum of 105 (top scores for my
classes) I can configure anything in those 6 books by memory ...

We are having problems with getting a Cisco 3640 to boot an IOS from
tftp.  The IOS is too big to copy to flash.  I do have one 3640 that
is working fine running this same IOS from tftp and it has the same
amount of physical memory, flash, etc.

Routing between 2 ethernet ports on a 160029 Jun 2004 23:28 GMT10

to route between the 10BaseT and the AUI
ports.  Can anyone verify that this is true?
VWIC-2MFT-T1 question29 Jun 2004 23:21 GMT5

I am monitoring traffic of a voice VLAN of the IPCC, thru a SPANning
