List. I have a Cisco 1720 w/a T1 WIC Card and a BRI U Card. The Router is set up so that if the T1 line goes down , the ISDN line kicks in.

We're dumping our frame-relay and moving to Internet T1's all off ATT's backbone. However, we have yet to decide on how to configure the VPN architecture. We have a good amount of experience with PIX-to-PIX and PIX-to-Concentrator VPN configuration.

We use HSRP and have always used public address space for 'real interface ip' ddress's Would it make sense to use non routing private address space IP's for the 'real' interface IP's and of course a public IP for the floating ip.

What are some good tools/methods for troubleshooting PIX access-list issues? For example, say that I'm blocking all outbound smtp for all machines with the exception of our authorized email servers (as noted in sample below). The email admin stops by one morning and says that

I've been looking intently at the Cisco website documentation (not all of it seems correct/complete) and have successfully set up a PIX515 to PIX506 site-to-site tunnel. In addition, I have VPN Clients set up to access the PIX515 and can access the network behind the PIX515.

I have been through 9 months training on Cisco routers and switches, 3 months on CCNA and 6 months on CCNP and have failed the 640-801 twice. I have passed all three of my classes with a minimum of 105 (top scores for my classes) I can configure anything in those 6 books by memory ...

We are having problems with getting a Cisco 3640 to boot an IOS from tftp. The IOS is too big to copy to flash. I do have one 3640 that is working fine running this same IOS from tftp and it has the same amount of physical memory, flash, etc.

I am monitoring traffic of a voice VLAN of the IPCC, thru a SPANning VLAN traffic to my server's network port. After dumping IP calls voice traffic into files, most of the calls are ok, but say 10% of calls has about one minute of lost voice packets.
