I am having an issue with creating some wallports for an office.
Basic Outlay. For now There is a Netgear Hub that has a Link to a T1. I
am running cable through the office. So it will be PC -->Wallport, then
On the other end of the wallport, a Male RJ-45 to the Hub.

I've been asked to evaluate "The Pole", manufactured by Bergstrom
Manufacturing.  Basically, it's a variation of the "fiberfish" and
other fiberglass push/pull rods.  I've got a more rigid set of (5) 5'
poles, and a more flexible set of (3) 5' poles.  Has anyone else used

I bought 1 package of Panduit's Laser/Inkjet labels (S100X150YAJ) to
print cable labels. Am I now forced to buy Panduit's Easy-mark label
printing software to successfully print on the labels or are there
other options that will enable me to print on the lable sheets?

We have a current co-location agreement with a cell carrier and after
reviewing the agreement, it's evident that we are not getting the good
end of the deal. The carrier is utilizing our last bit of electrical
expansion and the area on the roof has a tendency to leak where they

A few days ago I had to extend 4 circuits over a distance of about 600
feet using house pairs in a high-rise building. I then tested all 4
extensions for wiremap and other faults (including split pairs) and all
4 passed.  After patching the extensions into the appropriate smart

Is there an equivalence to a telephone tone generator in the ethernet
world that will enable me to trace cables?

 I've been browsing panduit's website to look for their cable labeling
solutions. I thought that I will see a couple of label formats and
choosing one would be easy. I was shocked (and got totally confused) to
find that there are dozen of different sizes that I simply don't know

im interfacing pc to trio motion controller through RS 232 but the
problem i am facing is that the connection to controller is lost again
and again due to EMI. can any one suggest how to protect RS 232 from
EMI and RFI.

Is just me or you are also seeing cable quotes from distributors that are
made valid for silly short periods of time like one to two weeks? This
time it's not blamed on price of Teflon but rather copper.
It's kinda funny but prices on copper futures are actually DOWN right now
