I have UTP cat 5 running all across my house. Now I would like to play movies on my pc and transer the signal to my TV over a UTP-cable.. Does anyone have any suggestions how I should be able to manage that

Does anyone know of test clips for the 100 pair MDF type cross connection blocks? I've seen some for type 66 blocks, but I'm not sure if they'd be suitable. tnx jk

Hi everyone, had to make some telephone cables up today. Crimped the ends on and tested with simple tester I have and one conductor was open. Inspected ends - both looked good, fully inserted, etc. Picked an end and redid it; same problem, same conductor open. Redid other end ...

Read back for my cable end crimp saga. Anyway I figure I check out testers. Someone says use an Ideal Linkmaster XL Pro. Check with Ideal; nope won't tell what end is bad. Scratch that. Get an email for one called a LanCaster. Looks like an English product. Anyone seen one

I am looking for some information on how I can make a cable that I can use for ISDN video conferenceing equipment NT1 device. If you know all Video conf equipments come with NT 1 devices which has three ports that take the RJ45 style plugs.

My house has Cat5 cables and plugs for all phone jacks. I have one of those phones that hangs on the wall, so it requires a wall plate with posts. In addition, where the cable connects to the inside of the wall plate, it looks as though there is a plug of some sort to make this
