I am hoping to use some existing fiber cables that are already installed in my building to distribute my network. I have four areas, all cabled back to one place, so I want to put in a fiber switch (or alternative ?) to join them all. Any recomendations

Or more accurately, how do I *apply* the wires (to this CAT6 terminal), since the colour coding is obvious: http://www.bakerbates.com/img/how.jpg I've got solid core cable. Do I unwind the pairs and just slot them in?

I inherited an existing 4" conduit about 200 feet long that has one 90 degree bend. It has an existing 12-strand fiber (currently used), 1x25 pair and 1x50 pair copper, and a pull string.

What's the origin of the term "biscuit jack"? And what exactly does it refer to? Or is it (has it become) a generalization like RJ45?

Good Day, I was handed a network that I am responsible for. I do not have a lot of experience with cabling which is why I am coming here for some advise. I have ran some cable, eight runs which is connected to a Cat5e Patch Panel.

All, Looking for a wallmount cabinet 12-15U, two or three sections. The one I have seen uses a large 'key' with a lug on each side and there is a long 'bolt arrangement' (screw) which is used to close the sections
