So, this board is supposed to be great for overclocking, right? Well, I have a Barton Core @ 2500+ that is only overclocked a little bit to 2600+ When a reboot is needed, the system will not post. I have to turn the

| Blew my SY-6BA+IV BIOS during flash! | 29 Oct 2003 20:47 GMT | 1 |
I flashed the BIOS on my SY-6BA+IV and had the correct new BIOS from the Soyo site (and followed all instructions as I checked and double checked everything) and in the middle of the flashing it gave a "write fail" error, crashed and burned. In other words it died and is not ...

| Soyo KT333 ULTRA Black ON-Board Sound Question | 29 Oct 2003 19:26 GMT | 2 |
I got a computer built with the Soyo KT333 ULTRA Black mother board. The MB came with a onboard sound that can be expanded using a header to get optical and component connection. I know this might be a dumb question but how do I use that header.

| Wow | 29 Oct 2003 04:41 GMT | 14 |
I just came back after being away a few months and this board is dead. I also see very few reviews of Soyo boards on NewEgg. Does this mean that everyone has lost their Soyo religion?

I've got a KT333 Dragon Ultra mounted in a Soyo CX-2058 case, which came with a Maxpower PX-350W Version 2.03 power supply. Everything runs flawlessly, except that the computer won't power down (shutdown) completely in either Linux (Suse 8.1) or Windows (Me). It just stops at the ...

| New CPU & K7V mobo | 26 Oct 2003 18:47 GMT | 19 |
Before I return a new AMD CPU (1900+266ATHLON1.6 XP AGOGA), I'm wondering if anyone has had any problems using this w/ a Soyo K7V-Dragon plus? My existing CPU (TBIRD 1.4GHZ/266 PGA AYHJA) works fine, but no beeps, no bootup with the new CPU. Have latest bios (2ba9) installed.

| 6BA+ IV suddenly unstable | 25 Oct 2003 02:47 GMT | 6 |
I've had this setup for a couple years and it hasn't given me any problems until now. It has very strange symptoms that I've never seen before: Sometimes when I turn it on, I get no beeps, no post screen, nothing. An amber light on the monitor meaning it's not getting a signal. ...

I have a P41865PE Dragon 2 with 2 HDs and 2 CDs. One HD must be primary master for XP. I discovered this through trial-and-error. The other HD is new and for Linux. I need to be able to boot from one of the CDs to install Linux. Every disk configuration/boot sequence I

| K7ADA owners - beware! | 21 Oct 2003 01:44 GMT | 7 |
I've read many complaints about problems with the K7ADA/K7ADA 1.0 boards here over the past couple of years, including the eye-opening statistic of a 30% failure rate. I thought I was one of the lucky ones until last week, when I arrived home to discover that after a brief power ...

| KT-400 Locking up when playing sounds | 17 Oct 2003 05:25 GMT | 15 |
I have a KT-400 DUB that has recently started locking up when playing audio. It exhibits this behavior in Win98SE, Win2k and several different Linux kernels, so it is obviously hardware related. The weird part about this is that it just started about two months ago. I
