Replacement needed for stolen FS5130 Nov 2005 17:12 GMT3
I need the number of the cheapest currently available model with an optical
S/PDIF socket (i.e. not a header or a hole in the back).
I have checked on DABS.COM but the cheaper models appear to have given up
on this connector.
SN85G4L and USB connectors29 Nov 2005 20:50 GMT3
I purchased the little two port USB adapter that goes into the top rear
opening on my Shuttle. Unless I am completely missing it I do not see any
available headers to connect it to. Do I need to remove one of the existing
connections in order to use these ports? I would be pretty ...
Replacing the FS51 Motherboard on a Shuttle SS51G21 Nov 2005 19:56 GMT5
After about 18 months continuous use the motherboard in my SS51G has
failed and it has taken the Pentium CPU with it. I have proved that
both are faulty by substitution. Not sure why it failed because it
has never overheated, so I guess just a random failure, although I
Hi!19 Nov 2005 14:01 GMT1
I have a problem and I don't know where I can find the answer. I wonder if
anyone can help me? I need to know the name of this motherboard and and
which company it comes from.
The only text I can find on the board is IA-P4. It has vga, network, sound,
NEC ND1300A refuses to raed DVD+RW disks.15 Nov 2005 20:50 GMT2
I have a SN41G2V2 and the NEC ND1300A DVD drive refuses to accept
that there is a DVD+RW with information on it. The drive will read CD's and
DVD-R's. The DVD+RW disks read fine in our stand alone DVD player. Any help
suggestions are most welcome.
SB81P: BIOS setting to make fans quiter?15 Nov 2005 19:52 GMT3
I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to change the BIOS
setting to make the SB81P fans run most quietly, yet also be able to run
faster if the system gets hot.  I see in Advanced BIOS features the
section on Thermal management. But I don't know what to change or how ...

Hello mates.
After a crash, no audio is working on my Shuttle Sb81p.
The problem is actually described here:

squeak noise from st61g408 Nov 2005 23:34 GMT5
my shuttle ST61G4 system runs very smoothly, and i have no stability
problems.  it's a p4 3.0ghz, with 2x512 ddr, and SATA hd.  over the
last few months i've noticed a squeak noise under very specific
circumstances.  in photoshop, when i am making a selection, the CPU
ST62K: Longhorn (sorry, I mean Vista)?05 Nov 2005 18:19 GMT1
Anyone know if the ST62K can run Windows Vista? A bit early to worry
about this, perhaps, but still - any Vista Beta testers out there with
an ST62K?
Opinions:  MK 40VN-any good??02 Nov 2005 22:54 GMT3
Well, Shuttle dropped the AN35N line unfortunately.  Does anyone have
any experience, good or bad, with the MK40VN board? From the stats I
read it doesn't have the performance of the 35N, but for low-cost
builds it might be okay if it is any good.
sn25p psu?01 Nov 2005 04:58 GMT6
I have had an sn25p running great for about two months, then suddenly
it won't boot.  I get no power - no fans, no lights, no beeps, no video,
nothing.  I tried another video card but that didn't help, and of course
I've tried resetting the cmos but that didn't help either.
