Until yesterday I was a new, but enthusiastic Shuttle user. I decided on a
box with onboard graphics purely for a quiet, easy solution to basic daily
desktop needs rather than gaming. But when I finally swapped over my old
system for the new shuttle box, and used it with my LCD ...

SS51G cpu multiplier problem...25 Mar 2005 16:22 GMT1
I just got an SS51G and I put a P4 2.6GHz in it
(version with hyperthreading).
When I boot I don't get 2.6GHz, I only get 1.3GHz.
Benchmarks confirm it's running at half speed.

Why are Shuttles promoted as "quiet" computers?20 Mar 2005 05:27 GMT18
My old HP Tower was a lot quieter than this 8300 G5 I had built by
Shuttle. I've had it for a few months now and thought I would just get
used to it because my first computer was louder than this but it feels
like going backward.

I have a Shuttle XPC computer, and when I hibernate the computer (using
Power button), the mouse and keyboard are still powered up (I can still see
the LEDs on the keyboard, and the light on the mouse). I can't find anything
in the BIOS to prevent this.

I'm just about to go ahead and upgrade my ageing XP1600 system with a nice
shiny new shuttle....but...really don't know what to go for.
I've been looking at the SN41G2, SN45G (or SN45GV2) or the SN85G4 (all AMD
as I've been using AMD for the last 12 years)

AV32 Capacitors07 Mar 2005 00:23 GMT2
Greetings all;
I have an AV32V14 board that had been working well, but then became

in a group beside the CPU looked fried. Before attempting to replace them, I
