I got my shuttle SK83g set up (Athlong 64 cpu), but I keep getting errors saying there are NO HIGH SPEED USB HOST CONTROLLERS INSTALLED on the computer. I know all these usb ports on the sk83g are supposed to be USB 2.0. I have XP SP2. How do I get them to be recognized?

Just wondering: I have a SB62G2 unit here, running Gentoo Linux. This box currently has 1 HD. Is it possible to add a 2nd HD & turn this in a RAID-1 system (via the hardware/BIOS) WITHOUT losing the data already present?

I've just sat and watched the CPU temp hit 102deg within two minutes of bootup, no wonder the box shut itself down during WinXP setup!! What temp should it be running at? I've still got the top off at the moment and sys temp is sitting at 30deg.

I have had my new SB61G2V3 Shuttle PC running for two weeks with no apparent problems, unfortunately today when i first turned it on it started to 'vibrate' even though it was fine the night before, more so i had not changed the setup in any way.

I read conflicting reports on whether the SB83G is quiet or noisy. I would appreciate anyone who owns it share their experience. I notice the heatsink on the northbridge (Intel 915) comes with a fan, whereas the heatsink on the 915G on the SB81P is fanless. Is it safe to

Has anyone had a problem with the motherboards dying can't find hard drive or won't boot to it. Drive works fine in another computer as master. Drive was moved from one to the other no change in software. Second time in 2 years different drive on the first one.
