Shuttle says there is no such thing as a wireless keyboard/mouse adapter29 Sep 2004 22:30 GMT3
I have a couple Shuttle SS51Gs that have a motherboard header labeled for
wireless keyboard and mouse interface.  I emailed shuttle and they say that
no such device exists.  Can you believe that?  Could they be wrong?  If
anybody has any more info, please tell me.
Sound quality SB81P anyone?29 Sep 2004 15:05 GMT1
I'm considering going for a SB81P for all-round use, which includes
programming, Internet, video & gaming. It's clear to me that the
onboard GMA900 can't compete with PCI-express graphics cards, but how
about the onboard sound? Is it good enough for some casual gaming? Does
good video card for SB62G228 Sep 2004 17:49 GMT2
I have a sb62g2 with a P4 2 ghz cpu, two seagate barracuda drives (80 GB
and 160GB). Windows XP Pro is installed. I plan to replace the power
supply with a SilentX 250w and I would like to install a new video card
at the same time.
Good low cost overclocker shuttle board27 Sep 2004 20:46 GMT1
I'm currently using a ECS K5S7A Pro (latest honey bios upgrade)
AMD XP 2000 T-bird (A 6-8-0)
Muskin basic PC2700 memory, two 256MB sticks.
I can overclock a little to 137/137mhz, anything more and the system
Can AK32 board handle XP-2600 cpu?27 Sep 2004 01:35 GMT2
Has anyone put an XP 2600 (the 266 bus version) in an AK32 motherboard?  I
currently have an XP 2000 and this would seem to be the last upgrade for
this particular board since a 266 bus is as fast as it goes.  I'm wondering
if it will properly ID the cpu.  Thanks
SN85G4 Drive Cover - Glue it on?26 Sep 2004 16:55 GMT2
I'm getting ready to put my new SN85G4 together, and I hate to ruin
the beautiful, simple lines of the front with an ugly DVD face plate.
Has anyone tried to attach the "dummy" cover that comes with the
shuttle to your CD/DVD drive?  How did you do it?
SN85G4V2 runs great -- now that it boots up!!26 Sep 2004 12:19 GMT2
I finally had some time last weekend to put my SN85G4V2 together. Youu
may recall from a previous thread I was planning to use a WD120gb
drive, which was a second drive in my old computer, as the HD for my
shuttle.
ST61G4B shuts down at Partition creation screen during Windows XP install25 Sep 2004 18:50 GMT3
I've got a WD800JB IDE(not SATA) hard drive, Lite On combo drive,
512MB Geil RAM. Hard drive(which is new, blank and unformatted) and
CDrom are recognized fine in BIOS. Setup continues normally until I
reach the screen where it asks about creating a partition(right after
SB75G2 boot problems24 Sep 2004 21:32 GMT2
My SB75G2 shows a typical problem: it won't boot. It appears to be working
(fans are blazing, power-indicators on the mobo work fine) but I get no
video signal and no boot-signals indicating  what might be wrong. I
tried switiching the AGP video-card, but to no avail.  I ...
SN85G421 Sep 2004 21:22 GMT1
Hi, I have built a shuttle SN85G4 Athlon 64 machine and everything is
OK except for one thing. When I turn it off it seems there is still
power going to the keyboard. The Num Lock LED stays on. I have checked
the BIOS for anything that looks like "boot on keypress" or similar
ST61G4 and AIW 9600XT problems21 Sep 2004 11:58 GMT1
good morning all. I'm a newbie.  I'm the proud new owner of a ST61G4
with P4 3.0 800, 512RAM, 200 gig SATA HDD, NEC 3500A DVD burner, and
XP SP2.  I just installed a ATI All In Wonder 9600XT.  Amazed with
this, moving from a notebook with 433mhz Celeron, 6gig HDD and 64 RAM.
Power supply failure?21 Sep 2004 07:28 GMT2
My ST61G4 failed last night and I'm wondering if folks have any ideas.
It's been fine for 6 months, but last night it just shut itself off
(had been on <30 minutes). I checked the power switch, but to no
avail. Pulling the power, and re-connecting did get it to start, but
ss51g problems18 Sep 2004 22:49 GMT2
I think this may have started when I added 512mb of ram. The ram I
started with is 2100.  I added 2700.  The system sees all the ram but
sometimes the system reverts back to default monitor setting while
watching movies.  I think this only started after I added the faster
SB61G2 - knackered BIOS - how to replace?16 Sep 2004 00:47 GMT3
In a moment of madness I decided to upgarde my BIOS, even though I had no
need to do so.
Sod's law dictates that in such circumstances I was bound to kill my BIOS -
and lo and behold I did.
SB75G2 and Nvidia 6800 GT15 Sep 2004 08:34 GMT1
Would the power supply in my SB75G2 be able to power a 6800 GT video card?
Nvidia recommend at least a 350w for the 6800 Ultra but I don't know about
the 6800 GT. What graphics cards does everybody else use?
