Can I get into the BIOS of a Shuttle if it has power, but no CPU, RAM and
hard drive isntalled? If not, what's the bare minimum I need in it to look
at the BIOS settings?

Have just replaced a dead PSU in an SS51G. I now have lights and whirring
(better than before!) but no power on bleep or any video display at all.
Any ideas?

I have an AN35N, one day my computer acted like it went dead.
I got it working again but now when I start the computer it wont save the
bios settings.
It seems to run o.k. but only at the default bios settings.

I'm setting up a Shuttle Zen XPC machine running Windows 2000. I also
plan to be run Windows XP and Linux on this machine. I am seeking
recommendations or personal experiences with RAID options for the Zen

Anyone know if this model will take a 1gb PC2700 chip???

When people talk about noise levels between shuttles, how do they perform
in the noise stakes relative to a "normal" desktop?
For example I'm looking at different shuttles to replace a lian-li PC-60
base unit housing a 350w PSU (q-tech "Low Noise") and a retail P4 2.4ghz -

cost to keep on all day 24/7 as we received are bill which is ?390 for
6months and i want to know how much my comp could cost daily?

perplexing problems getting this Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 card to work.
We have already disabled the integrated sound (VIA OnChip PCI

Please help me. I just recently bought a new 20th Annerversary Edition
Shuttle PC (SB61G2) and there is no sound coming out of the any of the
sound out sockets.
I am running Windows XP and am using the motherboard's onboard sound.

Does anybody know of a good program that monitors the processor temp. for a
AN35N U?
