Dual Channel and three sticks of RAM on AN35N Ultra28 Mar 2004 01:26 GMT6
I read the following quote from
http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/nforce2-1vs2channels/?98399
It's also possible to use three modules, but remember that the dual-channel
access can be set only for the memory size equal to the double size of the
AN35N Ultra LAN and sound  problems26 Mar 2004 21:47 GMT3
I've recently installed an AN35N Ultra on my computer and I can not
get the on board LAN and sound card to install.  I've tried disabling,
rebooting and re-enabling in BIOS.   I've also down loaded the latest
drives and reinstalling but so far no joy.  They show up in the device
[ST61G4] Package contents etc.26 Mar 2004 21:26 GMT5
I'm thinking of getting Shuttle's ST61G4 model as a desktop computer.
I've built full-sized computers before (in pre-DDRAM, pre-SATA times...)
so I'm not too sure as to what problems might occurr.
1. Does the package contain thermal paste or is that stuff no longer
SN41G2 hard-drive lamp flashing26 Mar 2004 08:16 GMT8
i noticed that on my new SN41G2 the hard drive lamp si constantly flashing
(once per second)
first i thought that it was the OS constantly accessing the drive (WinXP
SP1), and indeed it is not flashing when in BIOS, onlyu when XP is loaded
ST61G4 with 2 drives26 Mar 2004 01:15 GMT4
I shortened the bracket on the card reader and then inserted a second hard
disk behind the card reader.  The system board went from 54 to 58 degrees
but the CPU remains at 38 degrees.  I don't understand why they didn't put
more thought into the design in the first place.  They had ...
Wake On LAN24 Mar 2004 23:57 GMT8
I have a Shuttle "Zen" ST62K and want to get the Wake On LAN working.  When
I turn it off, the port on my switch still glows - it's "on."  Yet the NIC's
LED on the back of the PC isn't glowing, and nor is the IP address pingable.
What exactly do I need to do in order for the PC to ...
AN35N Ultra and SCSI24 Mar 2004 04:44 GMT1
Any ideas why all of my drives show up as SCSI in XP pro and AN35N Ultra? I
have a cd and dvd burner and a 200 GB hdd  hooked up to the 2 IDE
connections on my motherboard. Device manage in XP shows them as scsi and
nothing under IDE ATA/ Atapi controllers except the nforce ide ...

AN35N and Dual Channel22 Mar 2004 19:02 GMT5
I was running my Barton (T'Bred core) 2500 at FSB220x10 and using 1.725v to
obtain Prime95 stability. Temps would go up to 50C socket using 2 80mm
exhaust fans and a Vantec Aeroflow in an Antec SX835II case. For memory I
was running 2x512MB Kingston HyperX in dual channel (slot one ...
SN45G + 2500+ OC and temp21 Mar 2004 18:21 GMT4

Using the I.C.E. cooler the cpu temp sits at 53c running Prime95 for the
last hour with the case temp running 39c.

AK12A v3 -  PCI version?18 Mar 2004 05:47 GMT1
Does anyone happen to know the PCI version compliance on an AK12A v3.0?
The documentation doesn't say and the website doesn't seem to have it
listed.
Thanks.
Noise of XPC SB65G2 vs older SS51G ?17 Mar 2004 21:16 GMT5
I bought a SS51G soon after it came out 20 months ago or so, using it as an
audio server.   It works great, and I would buy another Shuttle XPC in a
nano-second, but I wish it were a little quieter given its right in the
living room.      Does anyone know if the newer models, such ...
Any shuttles with 2 bays due ?16 Mar 2004 20:23 GMT6
I know if we go down this route you could end up with 4 and blow the hole
idea
of a shuttle out of the water
but 2 is a reasonable no. - are there any plans for this ?
