I've just replaced the 80mm heatsink fan with a quieter Papst fan but this
thing still sounds awful.  I don't fancy pulling the power supply apart to
replace the fan in there (which I gather from other posts is the problem),
is there another power supply that I can buy to replace ...

I'm just wondering which version of Award Winflash is the best and
most up to date to flash Shuttle motherboards under Windows.
I have an FN41 motherboard (the one inside the SN41G2 SFF) and the
only Winflash version available from Shuttle seems to be 1.0.0.1 (from

I just got a Shuttle SK41G and upgraded to Bios FX41S025. Whenever I
plug in the HD (Western Digital WD800JB 80GB) everything seems to move
in slooooow motion. Bootup, Bios, everything becomes sluggish. Is it

I've got the SN41G2 running 2 - 512MB DDR2700 RAM modules,
XP2500+(Barton). The BIOS is the last rev (required for the XP2500+).
Once the BIOS was updated, the unit has been very solid and reasonably
fast. I'm using the motherboard video. I do have some questions that

I have the SN41G2...it has two Front USB ports. When i plug in devices in
the other one, like usb drives, irda etc..it works fine.  But the other
port, i plug those same devices and i get the 'USB device not recognized'
error. What's wrong here?? Is the USB port bad?? I was thinking ...

I seem to be getting all the problems no one knows anything about,
apparently...my SK41G system constantly freezes within the first 15-20
minutes after startup. The exact time is variable but it's never too
long before it freezes instantly and completely. The CPU is an XP2400+
