I realize this is a *very* old board so your patience is appreciated.
I'm trying to upgrade the memory on my girlfriend's computer and ordered 2
x 1 GB PC2100 DIMMs.  The max memory for this board is listed as 2 GB.
Anyway, the first set they sent me won't post, so I sent it back.

I have Version 1 according to the book. I also have a e-G-force FX 5500
video card. With one 512 mg DDR it worked fine. With two 512 mg
DDR it seemed to work ok. I took out a 512 and added a 1 gig DDR.
In one slot it won't even post. The screen stays black and I get one
