Hey all. Searching MSI's site has proved fruitless for me, but knowing
me I might just not be looking in the right place.
I'm running a K7D Master (MS-6501) mainboard and am looking to get
drivers for Vista for my board, if it's not automatically detected.

I tried to update my K9N Platinum from bios 1.2 to 1.4.
I used a bootable dvd with the new bios file and the AMI Flash utility.
Within DOS this utility tells me that there is a "program error", and that I
have to power off the computer. After rebooting the pc everything works

945P Neo3 board. Is it normal for the "Num Lock" lamp on the keyboard to
remain lit after shutting off the puter?
If normal, why/what is it for?

Can anyone help me with my RAID configuration?
I have 2 HDD's that were previously set up to work as a RAID 0 pair.
The PC in which they were installed bit the dust .. so I have built
a new PC (OS XP SP2) and installed an Ultra ATA/133 PCI card.

Please can someone try and help me out!!

I built my pc last August and never had any problem until yesterday
night.
This morning I switched it on and I got no video signal, and I think
the boot process went into some kind of loop because the floppy drive

The manual came with the P965 Neo-F board stated that "1 GB DDR2 800 SDRAM
memory module is not supported", is it so? Or has any new BIOS fixed this
problem?

I've had my rig for some time. 2 x dual 270 Opterons. MSI K8N
Master2-FAR (Nvidia Pro SLI dual CPU socket board)
I've been using an Nvidia 7600GS in the lower PCIe slot. I noticed a
couple of weeks ago, that in games I was starting to get artifacts.

anyone done some upgrading and might have an AMD 64 bit 3500 or 3700 athlon with the 1MB cache.
might be interested in taking it off your hands.

I am currently booting off an IDE hard drive, and I have 4 other SATA
drives on my K9N Neo MB.
Is it worth sacrificing one of the SATA drives as a bootable drive?
Would it make much difference? I will then loose some of my RAID

Just thought I would share this.
This is my second K9N Platinum, the first was RMA'd.  I have been having
reboot issues with my computer and sometimes I would get a  BSOD somtimes
only reboots.

Since yesterday night my old computerbased on an MS-6167 mainboard is
halted.
When i start computer, there is some continous beep sound. i see
nothing into manual
