Anyone using an K8N Neo4 Platinum and SATA DVD burner ?26 Jun 2006 00:32 GMT1
When I bought the MB and the DVD burner (Plextor 716SA), I never
dreamed there would be compatibility issues. As it turns out, Plextor
has a "compatibility" chart on their site listing known good MB for use
with this burner and the K8N is not one of them. Went back to
Motherboard USB still have power after shutdown25 Jun 2006 20:15 GMT3
According to MSI technical support, that's normal. I am wondering if
there is any trick that I can set so it will also power off when the
computer is powered off? I've tried their recommendation of turning
off USB legacy but it doesn't help (and in fact, it will limit the use

NEO 4 Plat and DDR RAM20 Jun 2006 04:43 GMT4
I recently put a system together using the NEO 4 Plat (w/4400+ X2) and 2
(2x1GB) GB of Corsair PC 3200. No issues there, and I love it, but I'm
considering adding another 2GB and have a few questions regarding the RAM
for this board. The RAM is Corsair part# CMX1024-3200C2.

HI All;
I will start out admitting I'm not real bright in figuring out some things.
One of them is searching the MSI site.
I currently have the Neo2 Plat MB with an AMD 4000+ CPU.

I've enabled "Nvidia RAID" in the BIOS.  However, when I do that, the
BIOS does not display any PATA/IDE drives.
Netzwerktreiber K8N Neo4-F17 Jun 2006 17:50 GMT1
Meine Versuche, einen Netzwerktreiber (Mainboard K8N Neo4-F) zu

Reihenfolge?
MSI K8N Diamond - MIDI/Joystick interface?09 Jun 2006 12:51 GMT2
I was a bit surprised to find no MIDI/Joystick interface on the SBLive-24
part of the motherboard.  Since I don't want to install a redundant sound
card to just have this feature, I would like to know how one obtains this
for the modern motherboard.  Is there an option back-plane ...

RAM Recommendation for MSI NEO4 Plat03 Jun 2006 07:53 GMT5
I'm about to buy this board along with an x1800xl PCI-e and 2 GB RAM

Which MSI mobos support memory hole remap?02 Jun 2006 21:43 GMT11
I'm trying to find a socket 939 motherboard that supports memory hole
remapping so I can use a full 4GB of RAM with a 64-bit OS.  The
information I've been able to find from several manufacturers on this
subject is confusing at best; for example, someone recommended the MSI
Boot delay at XP startup screen with K8N Neo202 Jun 2006 16:04 GMT4
Can't seem to find this problem mentioned here, so I thought I'd throw
