I plan on using 2 Seagate 250Gb SATA HDD's on this MB. I have the MB here but am awaiting the remaining parts,,, HDDs, video card, ram ect. Try as I might, I can't decipher from the manual if I will be able to configure these SATA drives as my root drive (C:\). I figure I can

I've just completed a new PC build using a 875P NEO-FIS2R. I've installed my existing ATA100 100gb boot drive with WinXP home on IDE1 connector. I've installed my existing DVD drive on IDE2 connector set as master and my existing CD drive on IDE2 as slave.

A friend of mine recently bought Neo2 motherboard and a Winchester 3200 with all the other gubbings required to build his rig. When he assembled it and tried to power it up the fan spun for 3 or 4 seconds then stopped. We tried reseating the CPU and fan - still the same. I

I have an old 6167 MSI Motherboard, and I have recently upgraded to add the SiL 3112 SATA Controller PCI Card in order to use a 200GB SATA Drive. I have the latest version of the BIOS (1.6) which is built on Award 6.00.

Ouch...My 865PE Neo-2 has an IDE CD Rom, and an IDE CD/DVD RW drives. Both are on the secondary IDE channel. Suddely neither are recognized by Windows XP. The drives don't show up in Windows Explorer or "My Computer".
