| Help... "unknow cpu type" | 24 Nov 2004 05:31 GMT | 2 |
Okay, here goes. I had a k7t turbo 2 with a 1 gig duron CPU. I recently picked up an athlon XP 2600 to replace the duron. It's the 266 MHz fsb version, not the 333 MHz Barton. I'm sure you know the rest... the "unknow cpu type error" seems a common problem from what I've been able ...

| K8 Neo Platinum54G and W98SE | 23 Nov 2004 17:19 GMT | 1 |

| KT4AV registers my processor as another speed? | 21 Nov 2004 19:12 GMT | 1 |
I have a KT4AV n' I use the Athlon 2400+ XP, and I looked on MSI's website and it says the 2400+ runs at 2gigs. My computer however, when booted, shows it as the Athlon 1500+ XP. I would really like to fix this problem if at all possible. Thanks a bunch.
