I have the following hardware:
Powersupply: Hercules 400w
motherboard: 875P Neo-FIS2R v 1.0
Processor: pentium 4 2.6g w/hyperthreading + 800mhz fsb
FSB Settings28 Nov 2003 20:15 GMT2
Can anybody advise me as to the correct FSB setting on my KT4AV board with
AMD 2600+ Processor (its the one with 512 L2 cache).

Bizarre - my pc will boot if the fsb is set to 100 but wont boot if its set
to 133 ? Everything seems fine until it starts to boot the OS - but at 133 I
just get a blank screen and nothing. PC works fine if set to 100 though.
What could be the problem, any ideas greatfully received. ...

I've just dropped an XP3000+ into my MB + plus a Nvidia FX5600 plus 1.5 gigs
(3 * 500) of Legend DDR400 memory
After various hassles the machine is back up but it will only run stably
with 1 gig of ram. Yes I've swapped the sticks to see if one is bad. could

I have a second hand PC running an MS 6163 Pro mobo, which has run fine for
over a year. Today it produces an endless series of long beeps at power-up,
the leds show red/green/red/red, and the system does not boot. Drives spin

A friend of mine has a MS-6167 mainboard (BIOS 1.6) and would like to
install a 250 GB harddisk.
1. Is BIOS 1.6 the latest version?
2. Is BIOS 1.6 supporting large harrdisks of +128 GB?

Two pages at the Microstar website suggest different minimum CPUs for
the MS 6385 board; it says P4 1.4Ghz on one site, and 1.3Ghz on
another. Seeing how am I supposed to assemble a computer for a

I just got a refurbished K7N2 Delta L from Newegg.com.  I've installed it
and it wont POST.  I get power to the fans and the drives, but that's it.
Nothing on the monitor.  No beep codes.  The D-Bracket LEDs show different
things on each power up -OR- sometimes I get no LEDs lit.  ...

I have a K7T266Pro2-RU (MSI 6380) mobo with an 80 GB Maxtor HDD on IDE3 and
a 250 GB WD on IDE4, using the latest FastTrak100 RAID drivers from the
promise website. On IDE 1 and 2 I have 3 optical drives installed.
The problem is that while the RAID bios detects the HDD's just fine ...

My Western Digital WD1200JD Sata drive recently died after a week of use !
Although I've read bad things about it since I wondered whether the fact I
was overclocking my Barton 2800 (333) to a 3200 (400) could possibly have

When I boot up, I get an error message that states that I have a missing or
corrupted file:                    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
How do I go about reinstalling this file under the repair options from the
WindowsXP Pro disk?
