I got today 2 Athlon MP 2800+ (AMD Boxed Version) for my K7D Master L
Motherboard with Bios Version 1.82, which comes with 2800+ support. But no
luck on my board, no beep, just 4 red led. Has anyone had the some problem.
My two old Athlon MP 1600+ are still working flawless.

Hello, before I can ask you about my problem, I must first tell you
the events leading up to the problem. For a while now I have had the
desire to build my own computer. Perhaps 2 months ago I started by
buying a MSI motherboard, then the proccesor, RAM, and so on and so

After buying a Bluetooth PDA needed to add the supplied bluetooth bracket.
Instructions pretty poor but plugged in lead from the bracket to Bluetooth
socket, plugged in antenna and installed Bluetooth drivers from MSI CD.

I am happy with my board now after RMA first one. But now there's a
weird problem: I am using EMule (Kazaa type of app) and it doesn't
download. Upload speed is perfect and after an hour or so my Internet
dies. I open IE and it can't find anything. I disconnect/connect and

My PC is in a cold room. (14 degrees)
When i start the PC in the morning it will not boot in the first time.
I have to restart (reset) the system and then everuthing is ok.
Is there a minimum temperature for a PC ?

On my MSI KM4M-L, do I need to use the square ATX 12V Power Connector JPW1?
If I need it, I don't have one on my power supply. Is it the wrong power
supply or do I only need an adapter to plug from a standard 5,25" power
connector?

I am unablwe to install XP on the S-ata WD drive without XP creating a boot
sector on my IDE Drive.
Does any one know a work arround?

I am having problems adding a new disk drive to my K7T turbo
system.  I have had the system for a couple of years and have
been using an IBM Deskstar 40GB ATA100 drive with no
problems.  I recently purchased a Maxtor 160GB ATA133 drive

The manual says only opteron 244 and up are supported. This seems like an
artificial restriction. I have the motherboard but haven't bought the
processors yet. Any information would be appreciated.
