I have a GA-7VT880-L motherboard. (Socket A CPU with VIA KT880
chipset). Recently it has developed a strange problem when powering

I have just replaced a faulty GA-7VT880 (Socket A, VIA KT880 chipset)
with a GA-8IG1000MK (Socket 478, Intel 865G chipset). The Socket A
mobo developed a fault, and I had the other mobo+CPU spare.
I'm running Windows 2000 Pro SP4, and just hooked up my existing

I have just installed a new Gigabyte Motherboard GA-EP35-DS3L
All I have connected to the motherboard is a video card, a clean hard drive
and a CD-ROM.
The BIOS has detected the Hard Drive on IDE Channel 0 MASTER, and the CD-ROM

Gigabyte quite quickly realeased a new version of the GA-MA78GM-S2H which
has a much bigger heatsink on the northbridge chip.
I have been having all sorts of weird issues with my rev 1 board - some days
