booting a USB flash drive26 Apr 2008 21:32 GMT10
I have been trying to boot a 256M flash drive that I have and I am

My home pc is a bit slow, so I think it might be time for an upgrade.
It's a while since I looked into what was out there. I don't think I

I have a GA-P35-DS3R motherboard and I just bought a new Samsung

work in Windows XP by disabling the SATA RAID/AHCI mode which makes the
sata drives act like IDE drives. Before that I could read okay, but

Does anyone know if Gigabyte are going to release a motherboard based on the
Nvidia 790i chipset ?
I'm looking to build a new system and I trust Gigabyte but if they aren't
going to release one I may look at an EGA board.

I'm using the Silicon Image RAID on my 8KNXP, and I was wondering if
there would be any problem enabling the Intel RAID ports too?
TIA.
