New build and can't detect Samsung sata drive in bios. Drive has power and tried different sata ports. Does Gigabyte require the raid driver to just detect a sata drive ? Can't seem to find out that info.

I am looking at the GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3P and the GA-P35-DQ6 motherboards trying to determine why one costs considerably more than the other. Can anyone please explain the differences? TIA

For those who use this mobo, please tell me what ddr2 you are using. I am thinking of this for my new system but don't know what brand of ddr2 is supported. Gigabyte's site doesn't have this info. Does it support CL4 (4-4-4-12) or even CL3 ddr2?

Got a new GA-P35-DS3P that wouldn't boot. Got 3 beeps, pause, 8 beeps. Would reset then repeat the beep codes. Replaced power supply, video card, RAM (3 sets), nothing worked. Ultimately the cause was the CPU. Intel Celeron D 336 that I had put

howdy, i've got a n650sli mobo. anyone know the speed of the second pci-e slot? i was wondering about using my one vid card in it to open airflow around the chipset cooler. (vid card is a 2900xt 1gb)

When I put my computer in standby mode (S3) it powers down as it should, but when I then wake it up again, the onboard NIC does not wake up and I have to reboot my computer to get network connectivity again. Any one else had this issue?

Just wondering if anyone has installed a stock intel heatsink on the P35-DQ6. I was building a system and I couldn't get the push pin things on the fan to lock in on all four corners. I reckon it had something to do with the massive "Crazy Cool"

some days ago my new mainboard [Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 BIOS version F4] made trouble. Without a recognizable cause i got a bluescreens about one per day. There was no info about the device driver, which caused this error.
