Just bought and installed As Rock K7VM3 board with Athlon XP2100, have a new
power supply, problem is it doesn't even attempt to boot, is there a way to
test whether it's the board or the processor that's causing the problem? I

r4, etc.

I have a Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 rev 2.1
Everytime I throw together a system, the USB headers screw me up.
The Firewire wires don't - they seem to have more consistent labeling.
Not sure why.

and at least one internal firewire portr for the same reason?

I've got a 8KNXP (Rev 1) that I've had in a box for 2+ years that I'm
finally assembling into a system.
It comes with some sort of small auxilliary board that plugs into it
vertically near the CPU - seems to have extra power supply circuits.

ok, i have 2 160gb hdd plugged into the gigabyte sata ports, the purple
ones.
i have presses "Del" and setup the bios to use the hdds as raid ones.

About a month ago, my PC began having issues during boot.  It would

I'm new to SATA drives, and I just bought a Maxtor 200 gb SATAII HDD.
I'm running on an F6 bios, and I installed all the drivers from the

Could someone please give me some insights on this issue?
My machine is based on an older Gigabyte GA-7VTXE+ (Athlon XP1900+) mainboard
with an AGP2.0 slot (AGP 4x is max). The computer is set up with dual boot
for Windows and SUSE Linux 10.1. My previous GeForce 3 Ti200 worked ...
