Ich habe mir vor ein paar Tagen einen neuen Rechner zusammen geschraubt
und zwar mit dem GA-965P-S3 und einem Intel DUO 2.4GHz und 2x 512 MB
DDR 2 533 MHz RAM von Infineon.

I am contemplating upgrading my system to an E6600 CPU
on either the GA-965G-DS3 or GA-965P-DS3 boards.  I have
also been looking at the equivalent Asus 965 boards.

I have aquired a small tower system with this socket A motherboard fitted
with just 256 MB ram and a 1.3G Duron.  I want to upgrade the board to a
much faster Athlon XP and increase the ram to 1MB.  Question is can I

I went into the bios, i put the ram (333) up to (356) worked fine, do i
need to also give it more frecency?
I put the ram up to 402 and it wouldnt work.

Running Windows XP Pro, I installed the driver for the Intel ICH5R.
Once I get an identical drive to the one I already have, what do I have
to do to get it set up as a mirrored volume or RAID-1?

I am using the computer for running surveilance camera hardware and

I have a put a Gigabit GA-965P-DS4 motherboard in an Antec P150 case.
The Antec manual says connect the case speaker to the motherboard but
there isn't a case speaker. I can't see any motherboard speaker and
I want to fit some kind of speaker so I can listen to the BIOS beeps

Its got three sets of them and the bios is confuseing as well. I have
nio idea what  i have them plugged into but, they seem to be working.
I have 4 SATA drives plugged in at this time.
I would like to raid two drive sin raid 0 soon just to try raid. What

Right now i install the drivers reboot and it just don't work. I have
tried all the PCI slots this is just STUPID.
Going to have to try a reinstall, jsut to get a soundcard working

I have a second hand Gigabyte GA-8S655FX motherboard which I intended
to add one SATA HDD. Its manual said that it supported "2 Serial ATA
connectors in 150 MB/s operation mode". I knew that SATA II HDD
operates at 300 MB/s. Could common SATA II HDD such as Maxtor, Segate,

I've been trying to install Vista since the first RC and have had no
luck at all. I have narrowed it down to the sata drive/controller on my
computer.
Everytime I try to install Vista I get a Machine_Check_Exception bsod.
