I've got a GA-K8NE and i'm trying to output to a 5.1 amp via the SPDIF output. I've attached a cable from the spdif output on the pc to a digital coax on the back of my onkyo amp but can't get a dolby digital or 5.1 signal

GigabyteGA-8IPE1000-G BIOS F5 If I plug in a Crucial 1GB USB Gizmo flash drive before I power up my PC it is not seen by BIOS or XP Pro. If I connect the Gizmo after power up it is seen by XP.

I've got a gigabyte motherboard a GA-7ZXE{rev 1}. I'm looking for the fastest cpu i can install on to it. on the home page my model has a system bus speed of 266mhz so can I install a Athlon Barton XP processor with a system bus speed of 333/400mhz.

Just bought a new motherboard and it has a 24 pin atx connector, this is new to me can I use the 20 pin connector power supply with it, and what's the advantage of the 4 extra pins? Thanks for any reply.

I'm just curies. I run GA-8PE667 Ultra Pro at the moment, with Pentium 4 - 2.4 MHz CPU. It works fine. However, when I tried to upgrade the CPU to Pentium 4 - 3.0 MHz - (Prescot) the mo/bo did not respond.

Im trying to get wake-on-lan to work, Ive enabled it in my gigabyte motherboard's bios. My NIC supports it and since the motherboard is PCI 2.2 compliant I *dont* have a cable running from the NIC's WOL connector to the motherboards WOL connector.

Hi, I`m a recent convert to Gigabyte from Abit. I can say that their website information is not as good as Abit`s and it remains to be seen if their mobos will be as permanently reliable as my Abits have. My new Gigabyte 965-DS3 board is working well at the moment with no snags.
