I hibernate my Windows XP SP1 but when I resume the system, the resuming
operation is stopped on a black screen with a blank line at the bottom of
the screen.

I have an nForce 4 board networked to an nForce 3 board via an SMC
gigabit router. The router indicates that the nForce 4 board is
talking at 1000, but the nForce 3 board will only connect at 100. The
Motherboard specs show that the on-board LAN is capable of 10/100/1000

The system actually runs rather well except for one very annoying
problem. The display resolution changes without intervention from the
user. The system is the GA-K8U with a Sempron 2800+ 64 bit CPU, 1GB RAM,
an ATI 9600SE video card a Creative Labs Soundbaster Live 5.1 sound card ...

That AC97 audio Configuration Application that comes with the board can
NEVER detect what is plugged into what, therefore my Logitech headset
will not work.

My daughter's cpu fan quit working and overheated her processor (athlon xp
1700+).  I was wondering if I could test the chip in my motherboard, also a
socket A, or do I risk damaging my motherboard?  It is unknown how long the
fan was not running but long enough to make the system ...

Any known problems with this board and overheating?

I'm currently running a Gigabyte 8IGX motherboard with a Celeron 1.7G
processor.  I always had the intention of upgrading to a faster
processor when I have more cash.  I'm now looking at the P4-Northwood
3.06G (HT) processor which according to Gigabyte is supported

If I disable the onboard LAN in the BIOS it also disables the Gigaraid
controller although the Gigaraid controller indicates enabled . Any idea
why?

I have a GA-8PE800-Ultra motherboard with onboard RAID. I currently have two
IDE 120 GIG hard drives, each set as Master Drive, one on each ribbon cable.
They are set to RAID 1, "mirror".

I recently got a Gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2G (socket AM2 MicroATX) motherboard.  I
used it to replace an Asus A7V.  Everything hookup-wise went fine but when I
go to boot I get a Blue Screen of Death and it re-boots.  I disabled the
reboot on this error to make sure it wasn't the power ...

I'm trying to edit my short film.  We're having problems with the
playback.  The video is playing back a lot faster than the audio.
What's the deal?  Has anyone seen this before?

Recently I came across a brand new never opened/used GA-8AENXP-D motherboard
that I had gotten as a replacement for a dead GA-8KNXP last year.  I never
installed this board at the time because I had a second 8KNXP I was using
(and still am) as well as I didn't have money for DDR2 ...
