I have the mobo working fine under Windows x64, and would like to install Linux. Yes, I know I can look at every distribution of Linux to figure this out, but their is nothing like hearing from someone who has it working for real.

I've recently bought a 1G DDR 3200 400Mhz memory chip from FastMemoryMan (advertised on EBay). The module works fine on its own but if I add the original 512Mb chip (DDR 3200 400Mhz) the PC starts beeping and won't boot.

This board has both Nvidea raid & Sil raid If, assuming mirror, raid1, do either of these have the capability of detecting an individual hd failure and to continue running the sys, without having to break the raid and boot from the functioning hd?

I have an 8I915P Dua Pro, and I'm trying to debug a problem w/ Flight Sim 2004 by disabling the onboard sound card and using an older sound card that I know works. Thing is, I can't find any option anywhere to disable the onboard

Motherboard was working earlier today. Turned on machine. CPU fan starts, power supplied to all peripherals, but no beep from motherboard. I haven't changed anything. Have tried disconnecting everything except the cpu (Athlon 3000 64).

I recently built a Computer with the above motherboard in a Antec Tower. After 30 seconds, it powers up then automatically turns-off. I have been unable to install Windows, set the BIOS or anything, because it keeps shuting off. I have no idea what is the problem, any ideas?

Hoping someone can help me. I have a gigabyte 8IEXP mobo that previously had a 1.8ghz Intel P4 Northwood CPU. I've upgraded the CPU to a 2.8Ghz Northwood but everytime it does a cold boot (eg first boot of the day) the Award Bios always goes:
