I've updated my Gigabyte K8NS bios from F6 to F17. The update seems to have terminated successfully (message appear). Unfortunately I'm not able to boot my PC. During the boot process screen remains black and the motherboard repeats

I have a Dell OptiPlex GX280 system that was damaged in the Katrina flood. It only took a few inches of water but sat in it for about 2 weeks. The case, MB and video are shot. Everything else RAM, CPU and drives was above water.

HELP !!! During operation and shutdown a pc has occasionally BSOD's: STOP Error 0x00000077 ( 0xC00000A3, 0xC00000A3, 0x00000000, 0x00C79000 ) MS KB: 0x00000077 and 0xC00000A3 point to "Drive not ready".

I understand the GA-K8N Pro SLI requires a BIOS update for use with a dual core processor. When starting from scratch can the BIOS be updated with a dual core processor in place? Graham

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Motherboard/Support/BIOS/BIOS_List.htm I am hoping this is the first bios update that will cover all nForce4 motherboards. If you have this mobo and flash to F8 can you please report back any differences you notice, date of the bios etc.
