I've just built a system around this board and I can't get it to recognise
the proper processor speed ( athlon xp 3000+ ) .
In the frequency/voltage part of the BIOS it won't let me change the CPU
clock to anything above 132mhz and that just makes it hang.

I have trawled the Gigabyte website but canno find confirmation of support
for the new AMD Winchester 939 pin processors!
Can anyone shed any light on which models are compatable please?

Anyone have any ideas why my board would all of a sudden start skipping
the startup bios screens for two of my cards? I'm running an Adaptec
19160 card and an HP NetRaid card on a Gigabyte board (GA-8KNXP) and
the card info has stopped coming up when the machine boots. I cant get

Could somebody tell me the max hard drive they have running on a GA-6VA7+.
I'm using the machine as a server and would like to increase the hard drive

I want to replace the chipset fan on my GA-K8NS Ultra-939 for
something quieter. I know there's not much clearance between the
heatsing and AGP card. Has anyone found a replacement heatsink and
fan or even a silent fan that would be suitable?

creating problems on a Gigabyte 8KNXP system. Is anyone running this

Whats the correct PCIE Speed on this mobo s'posed to be set at in the bios?
Right now its at 100 but it seems if its 16X should be 133MHz? Thanks.

I own a Gigabyte K8NF9 board. When I try to install the new NForce
driver, it shows me a critical error. I run the 6.39 driver and want to
update to the 6.53.

I downloaded the SuSE Linux 9.2 DVD iso image and burned it to DVD.
This is the first time I've ever burned an iso image to a DVD, so I
never had a reason/need to boot from the DVD drive before....good thing
I didn't, because I can't!
