Is there anything (bad) I should know? I am not a big overclocking nut, but I would like to be fairly sure I can get 210MHz or so out of my Barton 3200+. Will that be a problem, do you think? I know that will mean running my PCI bus at 35MHz and AGP at 70MHz,

I have a gigabyte K8VNXP for the Athlon 64 and it has two ethernet ports, one 100 Mbps and a gigabit. In the manual is says it has "Built-in RTL8110S (10/100/1000 Mbit)(LAN1)" and "Built-in RTL8201BL (10/100 Mbit)(LAN2)" in the manual.

Has anyone had the problem where thier UDMA6 drive (ATA133) will only run in UDMA5 mode (ATA100) ? BIOS is set to AUTO for UDMA on both channels. Of course I have an 80pin cable (otherwise, i wouldnt be getting ATA100....)

Just installed one of these boards and seem to be having temp problems. CPU Temp reads 58 - 63 degrees and board temp 35-40 degrees. System appears stable! CPU is an AMD XP 3000Mhz.

I have tried my new 2 x Adata DDR500 in my 8I875 and in my friend's 8KNXP. No matter what i set the memory timings too (SPD, the manufacturer's spec of 3/8/4/4, slow, fast etc etc) or what i do with the voltage, i cannot get either computer to boot with the RAM running at DDR500 ...

I've tried something that I 'thought' would work but didn't. I have a Barton 2500 that's about 14 months old and should be unlocked. I set the clock ratios manually on the board to what should be a 12X multiplier according to the manual to see if the processor is truly unlocked or ...
