Just put a Sata drive in (VAXP-A Ultra), ME installed but XP doesn't find drive as an install option and no option in bios to set Sata drive as boot option Any ideas

It seems that on this board i have to set the SATA drive to map to the normal IDE channel (ie Primary Master) to get it to boot from that drive. I can't always afford to loose 2 normal IDE channels just to get it to boot from SATA. On other 865 boards it has been simple... Set the ...

I am having some type of driver conflicts with my Nvidia Geforce 4 MX440 card and some conflicts with my onboard sound making background noises while attempting to play DVD's. I have the latest bios and drivers installed. Has anyone else had these problems

Did anyone get a book with this mobo covering the Intel SATA Raid controller? I received 3 booklets, one for SATA Raid Function for the Sil3112, one for GigaRaid Function (IDE Raid), and one for the P4 Titan GA8KNXP. What are we supposed to do?

I downloaded and installed MBM5 but it shows Zero degrees on all temperature sensors. Also, the fans all show zero. What did I goof up?

I just installed a K8NNXP board. This is my first experience with Gigabyte. I am running WinXP pro. The computer will not shut off. When I select "shut down computer" The pc will shut down momentarily then REBOOT. I have upgraded to the latest BIOS but it has not made any difference ...

I have an Intel P4 2.53GHz CPU currently @ 3.07GHz. The FSB is currently set at 162 and DDR322MHz. But when i try to bump it up to a FSB of 166MHz it totally locks up and won't boot, have to turn off the power...any ideas or have i reached the

I have updated my MAIN BIOS to version F6 using QFlash. Before doing so, I have copied the F5 BIOS to the BACKUP BIOS. Now, under Windows XP, I see with "Gigabyte @BIOS Writer": Intel i875P AGPSet BIOS for 8KNXP F6 AWARD BIOS Fine ;-)

I have this motherboard setup to use RAID 0 with 2x WD 120G SE. I am using BIOS F6. The problem I have is that Chkdsk trys to run every time i start my computer. What is the problem? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance,
