The CPU temps of my Athlon 2700+ is running about 10 deg C higher than the
1800+ ran, 52 vs 42 at a room temperature in the high 70s.  I have also gone

This is getting embarassing.  I know it doesn't seem like it but I have
built every PC since I bought an 8088 machine back in the 80s and I've never

After my mobo swap yesterday, everything seemed ok.  Today I am having
trouble booting into Windows XP.  I just had to restart about 5 times to
complete the boot process.  It hangs on the BIOS opening screen.  Sometimes
everything appears as normal, sometimes not everything ...

In the process of swapping out my 8KHA+ for an 8RDA3+.  The latter has the
extra 4 pin power supply connector.  The manual says the 4 pins are 2
grounds and 2 12v but my new power supply connector has 1 each of black,
red, orange & yellow.  Anyone know if the ATX spec has changed ...
