My son has a 700 mhz AMD Athlon, 256 MB Ram, 30G Seagate HD, and is
running Windows XP home SP2. The computer begins to start up but

Appreciate some info on the following:
I currently have 2x512MB sticks of Crucial Ballistix running at DDR440

channel), and although I'm not ready to install Vista on my main ...

machines in case one runs into trouble and one has to start ...

Are the refurbished mobo's from the Epox store ok?02 Mar 2007 05:27 GMT1
The failing caps on my 8RDA+ are apparently causing the voltage fluctuations
I'm seeing.  The refurbs say they have all new caps.  Are they essentially
as good as new then?
