Epox EP-9NPA+Ultra /AMD 3700+ San Diego lock ups26 Oct 2005 03:58 GMT1
  I recently assembled a new system with the following parts:
1) Epox EP-9NPA+ Ultra motherboard
2) Coolmax 550W power supply
3) AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego, 939 socket

I just built a brand new system and aside from a sh.t pair of ram from
corsair, all seems fine now.  The only major problem is that the system does
not power down correctly.
It goes through the normal process in windows, and takes an appropriate

I live in the UK and have an EP-8KHA+ mainboard which has succumbed to
the famous "bad capacitor" problem with most of the larger capacitors
bulging and some of them leaking. The board is out of warrantee.
Having read in several forums that Epox repair these boards for

I'm considering purchasing an EP-9NPA+Ultra to run an X2 build. I have an
Enermax EG651P-VE 550W PSU that has a 20 pin ATX connector. I've ordered a
20-24 pin adapter. Are there any issues with this board and a 20 pin ATX

working and has resisted my attempts to get it going again. I plugged in a
